NABISCO BOY Original Antique Letter Opener

What a find! from the original National Biscuit Company founded in 1898 in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1971 NBC opened a bakery facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bakery was built in East Liberty due to its proximity to downtown Pittsburgh and major transportation lines. The bakery eventually employed over 1,000 people from the surrounding neighborhoods.
The name "Nabisco" was first used as the name for a cracker introduced in 1901, but the corporate name did not change to Nabisco until 1971.
