Henry van de Velde (1863 - 1957) was a Belgian Painter and Commercial Artist. The gorgeous Art Nouveau tray is stamped GESCHUTZT (Austrian) on the reverse.

The antique set is in very good condition commensurate with age with a slight chip hidden in the crystal inkwell, bottom left underside. It measures 10 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 3 1/2, and is lacquered so do not polish.
