This exquisite Limoges trinket box features highly detailed scenes of the entrance of the Shrine, with Monks holding flags and performing musicians on all sides. The piece is artfully and colorfully hand-painted in great detail, with firings numerous times to achieve the brilliant colors. 

A beautiful presentation for the Orientalist or the Orient-leaning Collector, the Limoges box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp, a wonderfully styled bow with arrows as shown on the photo above. The combo is ripe for display, or even for use as a ring box.
